Paste your supplier feed. Pup does the rest. Review supplier products before importing and keep selected fields in sync.

== Description ==

FeedPup connects WooCommerce to the separately hosted FeedPup service at https://woo.feedpup.weareplano.gr. The service fetches XML, recognises fields, prepares previews and runs imports and scheduled syncs. The plugin provides authenticated product and category operations in your store. It does not read customers or orders.

WooCommerce must be installed and active. Product management capability is required to configure the connection.

== External service and privacy ==

An explicit connection is required before the plugin contacts FeedPup's hosted service. The default service URL is https://woo.feedpup.weareplano.gr and can be reviewed in WooCommerce > FeedPup before connection. Support contact: contact@weareplano.gr. Privacy policy: https://woo.feedpup.weareplano.gr/privacy. Terms: https://woo.feedpup.weareplano.gr/terms.

When you connect, the plugin sends your site URL, installation ID and a generated bridge secret to the service. The service verifies store ownership by a signed callback. It reads store name, currency, timezone and plugin version. It encrypts the secret and uses it for authenticated product, stock and category writes. The hosted dashboard stores connected supplier feed URLs, mappings, product links, sync outcomes and billing state. Supplier media is downloaded to WordPress when you import images.

Paid subscriptions are handled by Stripe on its hosted payment screens. The plugin does not receive payment-card details. Disconnecting or removing the plugin does not cancel a Stripe subscription; manage billing in FeedPup before disconnecting.

Your supplier and store content remains yours. Privacy and retention details are available at https://woo.feedpup.weareplano.gr/privacy; service terms are available at https://woo.feedpup.weareplano.gr/terms.

== Installation ==

1. Upload feedpup-woocommerce.zip through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
2. Activate WooCommerce, then activate FeedPup.
3. Open WooCommerce > FeedPup and review the FeedPup service URL.
4. Read the connection notice and connect. Open FeedPup to review and import your feed.

Production requires public HTTPS on WordPress and the FeedPup service. FeedPup opens in its own dashboard rather than an admin iframe. Scheduled processing runs in the service and does not rely on visitors triggering WP-Cron.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= What happens when I disconnect? =

Future signed writes stop. Products already imported remain in WooCommerce. The service pauses syncing. Disconnecting does not automatically cancel independent billing. Reconnecting the same installation retains existing FeedPup links; removal of installation identity requires review before reconnecting.

= Can I test first? =

The hosted service's Free plan supports analysis, mapping, preview and up to 25 draft test items. Full imports and scheduled syncs require a paid service plan. Plugin code is fully included; hosted processing provides the service functionality.

= Does it support other inventory extensions? =

The first version uses WooCommerce's standard stock pool. Multi-location inventory extensions are not integrated.
